Real Madrid's winger Offers Sincere Sorry to The Madrid Club Devotees

Vinicius Jr in action

Vinicius Jr has scored five finishes in 10 Spanish league appearances so far this term.

Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has said sorry to fans for his conduct when substituted in the recent fiery match against Barcelona victory.

He was substituted in the second half and displayed his disappointment by heading directly down the tunnel.

He subsequently came back to the bench and, after his club's 2-1 victory, sought to engage Barcelona's Lamine Yamal during contentious post-match exchanges.

"Now I want to say sorry to all the Real Madrid fans for my behavior when I was substituted in the big match," Vinicius wrote on X.

"In the same way as I have already done during this morning's training, I would like to say sorry once more to my team-mates, the organization, and the leadership.

"At times fervor overcomes me because I constantly desire to win and support my side. My competitive character stems from the affection I feel for this team and everything it represents."

The player joined Real from Flamengo in recent years for a significant fee and has scored over a century of strikes in more than 300 games.

But his prospects in the La Liga is uncertain with reports in recent months indicating that the club would think about letting the young star leave if they obtained a good proposal.

When Vinicius was replaced on the match day, cameras from coverage provider Dazn recorded him remarking: "It's always me! I'm leaving the team! It's better if I go, I'm leaving."

In his latest message on social media, Vinicius stated: "I commit to keep striving at all times for the benefit of Los Blancos, as I have done since the first day."
